Guess for this week I'll be focusing on the grind. Iirc the story of the second arc is getting changed in 1.1 correct? I'm wondering if I should save doing it until 1.1, since it will be finished by then, and the changes would improve the overall pacing?Īfter that triumphant victory I went to SU World 3 to conquer it and get some good rewards.only to get beaten and fail halfway through lol. Seemed fairly standard overall, but a stronger start than Genshin's first arc to be sure. If I had to compare it to the main arcs from Genshin, I'd say it wasn't as bad as my least favorite arcs from Genshin, but also wasn't as enjoyable as my favorites. As others have said, the final battle was excellent and overall it was a nice conclusion to the arc. Hit TL 30 and finished the story of the first planet. Think of it like a special crit that works only when the enemy is weakness broken. So make it so that every weakness-type hit on the enemy while its bar is broken applies the DOT and/or Break Effect amplifies the damage done to a weakness broken enemy. That one hit when you break the bar is a nice chunk of damage, but its hard to guarantee the person with Break Effect is the one to do it.Weakness Break Efficiency right now is a super rare stat, I've only seen it in SU in a 2* Nihility blessing and in the current event, but they make bar breaking much more manageable. Break Effect also affects Toughness bar breaking speed (aka Weakness Break Efficiency).If I have a full team tailored to the Bosses weakness, I should be able to break bosses before they can pull off charged moves (especially if they are slowed), instead of hoping their bar is low when they do the move. Make it easier to break Toughness bar for Elites/Bosses.I heard Break Effect was actually pretty good in the betas, so I'm not sure why they nerfed it so heavily and didn't bother to test it again (because they want people to grind crit rate + crit damage substats relics instead of 1 stat to increase playtime?) As anyone who borrowed a cracked Seele knows, Seele can just destry enemies with her crit even if the enemy isn't quantum weak.īreak in the current design is already niche (because you need someone of the right element), so investing in it the same way you do for crit should make you absolutely destroy stuff with weakness to that character. ATK/CRIT is generic and works on everything. I think they need to rework break and remove 3 of those flaws, because right now its like Element Mastery in the early days of Genshin before its rework. That's just too many cons for Break to be worth it. There is no way to increase the speed at which you break the bar.The effects aren't great for how much effort you put into breaking the bar.You only get the break effect once the bar fully depletes.Only Weakness damage can damage the toughness bar.Elites and Bosses have really long toughness bars.Finished the event, and I think today's buffs is representative of my current gripes with Star Rail's gameplay, which is the toughness bar
